Molnar Technologies 4340 Billet H-Beam Yamaha SHO Connecting Rods.
Tom Molnar has been involved with the design and manufacture of high performance and racing engine connecting rods for over 30 years. Using the latest technologies Molnar continues to advance the state of the art in high performance connecting rods.

Molnar Technologies H-Beam Connecting Rods are made from 4340 billet material, heat treated to increase tensile strength, are shot peened to increase fatigue life, fully machined on all surfaces, and are a size 4 on yamahas factory sizing chart. All rods have a wear resistant bronze bushing for long wrist pin life and feature ARP fasteners. All Molnar Technologies connecting rods are finished here in the US at our factory near Grand Rapids Michigan. Sizes are held +/- .0001" which is the tightest tolerance you will find in the racing industry.
100% mag particle inspected, bushed for a full floating wrist pin, housing bore is finished to +/- .000050" (50 millionths). These rods also include our proprietary ARP2000 rod bolts made by ARP.

The original proven Tom Molnar lightweight design used by multiple hydrodrag champion racing engine builders weighs in at around 525 grams.
Proven reliable at 10,500 rpms with 30+ pounds of turbo boost. Any heavier weight connecting rod adds to reciprocating engine mass and is just not necessary.
Used by JD1 Dan O'Keefe in his 2012 Unlimited class turbocharged Yamaha SHO racing engine to win the IJSBA Hydrodrags World Finals, and RossNemo Racing in his 2013 E85 powered Superstock Yamaha SHO racing engine to win 3 consecutive IJSBA Speed Alley titles.
