The Sea-Doo Carbon Seal Bellows is a key component of the 4-TEC driveline sealing system. This rubber bellows provides the spring pressure that pushes the carbon ring against the stainless steel wear ring on the driveshaft, creating the watertight seal between the hull and the propulsion system.

As the engine and driveline move during operation, the bellows compresses and expands to maintain constant pressure on the carbon seal. Over time the rubber can deteriorate from heat, age, and vibration. When the bellows weakens or cracks, it may no longer maintain proper sealing pressure, which can allow water to enter the hull. Replacing the bellows restores the correct preload on the carbon seal and helps maintain reliable driveline sealing.

This genuine OEM replacement is commonly installed when servicing the carbon seal assembly, driveshaft, or jet pump and is recommended during major driveline maintenance.
