The FuelTech billet supercharger 10mm shaft with dual ball bearing upgrade kit for Yamaha SVHO superchargers was developed to upgrade the latest Yamaha SVHO superchargers that are prone to fail under high performance applications.

This shaft and gear is a billet one piece design. This improved shaft features a longer shaft that allows use of aftermarket impellers of a taller design, including the future releases from Fizzle Racing and other manufacturers. To use this shaft with an OEM impeller, or the currently available traditional SVHO supercharger impeller upgrades, the shaft would need to be shortened and re threaded and the supercharger impeller would need to be drilled for the 10mm shaft, and the impeller rebalanced.

The backing plate is made of billet aluminum and features a 2 piece design that has an additional O ring sealing the supercharger cover.

The stock supercharger backing plate is prone to failure. This kit is a great solution to rebuild an otherwise damaged and unusable supercharger.

This kit features dual ceramic ball bearings and is a huge improvement over the bushing bearing that is very sensitive to oil starvation and pressure pressure loss.

By using dual ball bearing technology, the shaft is perfectly centered and revs much easier, which also helps take stress off of the supercharger clutch.

This kit installs easily into any SVHO supercharger housing, no special machining required.
