The Sea-Doo Carbon Ring Kit is a genuine OEM driveline service kit designed to restore the carbon seal system used on many modern Sea-Doo 4-TEC models. The carbon seal system creates the watertight seal between the driveshaft and hull by pressing the carbon ring against the stainless wear ring on the driveshaft while still allowing the shaft to rotate freely.

Over time the carbon ring naturally wears due to constant friction and heat. When the seal becomes worn, water can enter the hull and compromise the driveline system. Replacing the carbon ring kit restores proper sealing pressure and helps maintain the reliability of the propulsion system.

This kit is commonly replaced during driveline maintenance, jet pump removal, engine service, or whenever carbon seal wear is present.
