The Sea-Doo Carbon Ring is a critical component of the 4-TEC driveline sealing system. This carbon seal presses against the stainless steel wear ring on the driveshaft to create a watertight seal between the hull and the propulsion system while allowing the driveshaft to spin freely.

Over time the carbon ring naturally wears due to constant friction and heat. When worn, the seal can weaken and allow water intrusion into the hull. Replacing the carbon ring restores proper sealing pressure and helps maintain the integrity of the Sea-Doo carbon seal system.
