The Sea-Doo Carbon Seal Bellows is a critical component of the 4-TEC driveline sealing system. This rubber bellows applies constant spring pressure to the carbon ring, forcing it against the stainless steel wear ring on the driveshaft to create a watertight seal between the hull and the propulsion system.

As the engine and driveshaft move under load, the bellows flexes to maintain consistent pressure on the carbon seal. Over time the rubber can become brittle, cracked, or weakened from heat, age, and vibration. A worn bellows can reduce sealing pressure and allow water to enter the hull. Replacing the bellows helps restore proper sealing force and ensures the carbon seal system functions correctly.
