The programming is performed using the RIVA MaptunerX Tuning system and a Tuning License that is applied to your ECU. Future tuning changes can be made at no additional charge by sending your ECU back to RIVA for reflashing. Also, you have the option to purchase a MaptunerX device in the future to make tuning changes yourself once the communication cable is available.
